About the Teacher

Welcome to the Pike Lake Kindergarten family!  Our school is a positive, welcoming place where all students, families and staff are supported and valued as individuals. We are a collaborative community that believes that by building a strong foundation, every child will succeed on their journey of learning. We are so glad you and your child are joining our community!

My name is Cecilia Ingberg and I am so thrilled to be a part of the Pike Lake Kindergarten family starting this school year. I graduated from Winona State University with a major in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, plus a minor in Spanish. I currently live in Mahtomedi, MN. I have a sister and brother who both go to the University of Minnesota. I also have a eight year old barky, loving sheltie named Riley. In my spare time I love reading, gardening, kayaking, hiking, painting and spending time with my family. I recently taught Kindergarten this Fall and was the early childhood program lead at a summer day camp for three years. I am so incredibly excited for the school year to begin. I absolutely love the continual energy and curiosity that Kindergarten brings. I cannot wait to partner with you to further build and develop your child’s academic and social/emotional skills.

We value the partnership between families and staff.  To best support student learning, we must have a strong home-school partnership.

I am so excited to get to know your child and help them succeed in numerous ways throughout thier kindergarten year!

Ms. Ingberg
